I know that I haven’t written to my blog much lately so I thought I would log on and make a quick post about the shark pocket mop. I don’t usually get suckered into silly as seen on TV products but I had to give this a try I just hate cleaning with chemicals especially with a little baby crawling around and touching every possible surface. I figured if I hated it echoes return it so I really have little to lose. I thought it especially to clean my bamboo floors in the hallway and the linoleum in the utility room and kitchen. I can tell you, that I was a little concerned when he took the pocket mop almost 2 minutes to warm up especially since the infomercial advertised that the mop started steaming within seconds. However once the mop had he did up it worked as advertised. Working the handle in a back-and-forth motion is what produces the steam. Each time the handle goes up and down steam is released through the pad at the bottom of the mop.

The shark steam pocket mop is super easy to use and the swivel head makes it easy to get under tables and around other obstacles. I did find that dirtier places on the floor did not get clean with a single pass. Instead, I have to pump the handle extra to release more steam to get the dirtier spot clean. I was definitely impressed by the large water tank, which apparently had been improved from the earlier model. I was able to do my entire house without having to add more water. I could not believe that I was able to clean my floors and 18 minutes. It usually takes almost an hour to do the same job with a standard mop. I was actually a little disgusted by how much dirt was picked up on the pocket mop pads. I keep the house very clean and it’s disturbing to think that there was that much dirt and grime still on the floor.

Not only am I able to get my floors super clean but I also been able to disinfect them without having to use chemicals which is the reason I bought the Shark Steam Mop to begin with. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the results and have been recommended this product to my friends. I even am considering buying one of these steam mops were my sister for her birthday. Her house get’s even dirtier with three kids and 2 dogs. I’m actually kind of shocked that she has not already tried one herself. She is pretty cheap however and I doubt she would ever spend $120 to buy one her self. I guess she will just have to owe me ☺

Just last week I ordered a unit of Swivel Sweeper from an online store as I had seen it being advertised on TV and I knew the product was an unbelievable success. I decided to try this Swivel Sweeper out for myself in my home. I have a few different floor surfaces at my place; wood floors, pergot flooring, carpet upstairs and tiles in the bathrooms. I immediately found out that the Swivel Sweeper works just as brilliantly as advertised on TV. It works extremely well on hard surfaces but like the commercial says it is not designed to be used on uneven surfaces or outdoors. I was amazed at how clean everything at home was!

One tricky subject that you may find about the Swivel Sweeper is its battery life. I was a little worried at first but if you read the battery manual you will always stay one step ahead of a so called battery life problem that people claim to exist with this wondrous contraption. According to the helpful battery manual, the battery charge time is dependent on the amount of power left in reserve after your last usage. I recommend you should always charge the battery on the Swivel Sweeper for six to eight hours after the power is completely empty. I also recommend you not leave the battery on the charger for longer than 24 hours (similar to getting the best amounts of battery life out of your mobile telephone).

Using the Swivel Sweeper is a dream. With the four sides of technologically advanced rotating brushes I really enjoyed using it and it was a breeze for my large house. I do not need to bend down and use extra “elbow grease” as I used to with manual sweepers; this is the key. The Swivel Sweeper does all the hard work for you and it is very light, around 2 pounds. These innate qualities make it a favorite of mine for any cleaning job around my house. Pet hair and other small debris is also no match for the Swivel Sweeper, I would recommend this amazing product to anyone!
